Let me take a moment to tell you a little about me.
I grew up close to the Tennessee River in Savannah. After high school, I ventured off to Atlanta for college. Following my degree, I worked with juveniles in the court system for six years. I loved helping the children and their families, but, as you can imagine, the job was very emotional. Even though I was good at it, I knew that I needed to make a career change for my own sanity and before starting my own family. But what?
That's when it happened. I realized that all of the projects I had going in my “spare time” outside my “real job” were really what I enjoyed the most. My husband and I had just finished building a house, had renovated our two prior homes, and were working on the renovation of two other houses in our hometown. Although these projects were hard work, I absolutely LOVED every minute of it. The process of transforming a house that would later be someone’s home intrigued me and made me wonder, could I do more?
Real estate appraisal caught my attention so I began that venture after relocating back to wonderful Tennessee! I have been involved in the appraisal business in Middle Tennessee since 2007. My coverage area spans from Dickson down to Lewis on the west side over to Sumner down to Giles County on the east side. I travel into new places all of the time and am constantly learning areas hidden by the varying terrain of beautiful Middle Tennessee.
Becoming a Realtor was simply the next logical step. I felt as if I had done my background work. I had studied, learned, been a buyer, seller, investor, and appraiser. I’ve gained valuable insight through knowledge and experience, and I look forward to sharing this with you.
